Day 13- Church and Family

Today was Sunday, and we attended church at the Piacenza Branch. Lucia gave a talk on Charity, and even Nicola, a non-member friend of Andrea and Lucia, came to hear. It was High Council Sunday, and the High Council member gave a good talk too. Below is the branch primary. There were forty people at church today, achieving a goal that the Branch Presidency had set for some time.

After church, we ate lunch with Lucia's family. Then we went and visited Nicola and his mother, Francesca. She is a single parent, who has done a good jod raising her two boys.

Our evening ended back at Andrea's house with his family. Below are Andrea and Lucia in the home of his father. Andrea's father loves to collect original art.

Andrea's sister Valentina with his father, Antonio.

Andrea's cousins, Alexandro and Alexandra, whose apartment we were using, while they lived in another nearby city, with their eight-month old son, Giovanni. They had just returned from a scout hike.

What lovely primary children. What a different experience it would be to always attend church with 40 people or less.
