Monday, October 27, 2008, Spencer arrived home from Torreon, Mexico. Two years is a long time to be gone. Yet it also seemed to go by fast.
When he arrived home he was amazed by hot runnin water, clean, quiet streets, and a washing machine that really works. He seems to have adjusted pretty quickly as he has been to two or three parties, and a fireside. He has already been a great help in the yard. October 30, we met at Nana's for the annual Halloween Party.
The Addams Family made a guest appearance at the party.
These two bugs sure were "cute".
Here is the gangster family that instilled fear in the hearts of all who attended the party.
Kristin went Trick-or-Treating as a cool hippie. She kind of reminds me of mom when I first met her.
Spencer went to a Halloween party as a slightly spastic boy scout.
I was the only one to carve a pumpkin for Halloween. I want your feedback on how you like it.
Finally, today we went to Orem and helped Jon bless Claire. Jon gave her a very nice blessing, blessing her that she would both have joy, and bring joy to those that know her. Here is a picture of Caroline holding Claire and Hanna.

I'm glad the blog's back up! Maybe that will inspire me to update mine.
I'm glad Spencer's back safe and sound. It was fun to talk to him the other day. What a clever idea for Nana's Halloween party--you look great as the Adam's family. Spencer as a spastic boyscout is a little scary, though.
That is an awesome, gruesome pumpkin. Kind of dangerous, though to leave a hatchet lying around!
Claire looks so pretty and what a beautiful dress.
Thanks for the pictures. I bet that you are glad to have some extra help in the yard. I hope you enjoy your trip this week with Spencer. Good pumpkin too. Was it a message to the others if they don't carve one next year?
